Do I need to be able to swim to enter the water park?
Yes. You need to master the basics of swimming and be comfortable in the water without having to walk. It’s not uncommon to have your head underwater during the activity.
What is the minimum age for admission to Aquaparc Embrun?
The minimum age is 6.
Children aged 6 to 8 inclusive must be accompanied by an adult on the inflatables.
The park is designed for children and adults alike, with Wibit structures for all levels.
Do you need to be in good physical condition to take part?
A reasonable level of fitness is required: you’ll need to be able to pull yourself up onto the structures from the water and swim around the park. As with any sporting activity, make sure you’re in good health. If in doubt, consult your doctor before your visit.
Can I take part if I’m pregnant?
No. For the safety of both mother and unborn child, participation is not recommended throughout pregnancy, including early pregnancy.
Can I enter the park with a pre-existing injury?
We advise you not to take part if you are injured. If you choose to do so, please be very careful on the structures. If in doubt, ask your doctor for advice. We cannot be held responsible for any aggravation of an existing injury.
Is access permitted under the influence of alcohol or medication?
No. Alcohol, drugs and certain medications impair judgment, reflexes and risk perception. Anyone suspected of being in this condition will be refused access to the park, without refund.
What to wear to Aquaparc Embrun?
Bathing suits are compulsory. The burkini is authorized.
Neoprene shorts are highly recommended for added comfort, especially for children and those with cold feet (rental on site: €2).
Non-slip socks make the activity much easier (on sale on site: €2).
Slippers and flip-flops are not permitted on the facilities.
Is it compulsory to wear a neoprene suit at Aquaparc Embrun?
No, it’s a personal choice.
Neoprene shorties can be rented for €2 for the whole session.
The water in the lake is naturally cool (19-24°C in summer): shorties greatly improve comfort, especially for children.
Can I wear glasses on the water park?
We strongly advise against this.
You risk losing or damaging them. If you choose to keep them, you do so at your own risk.
We accept no responsibility for loss or breakage.
Is jewelry allowed at Aquaparc Embrun?
We strongly advise against wearing jewelry during the session.
We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage.
Do I need to book in advance to come to Aquaparc Embrun?
Reservations are not compulsory for individuals, but are strongly recommended in July and August and at peak times to guarantee your place.
For groups of more than 10 people, reservations are essential via our dedicated contact form.

How do I book a session at Aquaparc Embrun?
You can book online via our ticketing system (payment by credit card), or directly at the park reception desk. To request a group quote, please use our contact form.
Are life jackets compulsory at Aquaparc Embrun?
Yes, a lifejacket must be worn by all participants, without exception.
Lifejackets are provided free of charge and included in the price of your session.
Who watches over the Embrun water park?
The park is permanently supervised by qualified lifeguards (Brevet National de Sécurité et de Sauvetage Aquatique).
A first-aid post is manned throughout the opening hours.
Can accompanying adults come along without taking part in the activity?
Yes, we do. If you don’t wish to take part, you can set up freely on the beach next to the park, free of charge.
Only participants in the activity pay an entrance fee.
Can I leave the session early?
Yes, you can leave the water at any time to rest.
You can resume the session in the time remaining, but this time will not be carried over or refunded if you decide to leave for good.
Does Aquaparc Embrun close in case of rain?
No. Rain doesn’t mean the park has to close – you’ll get wet anyway!
However, in the event of a thunderstorm or strong wind, we suspend activity and evacuate the water for safety reasons.
The session resumes as soon as conditions allow.
What are the opening hours for Aquaparc Embrun in 2026?
Aquaparc Embrun is open from May 30 to August 31, 2026, every day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. non-stop, with no midday breaks.
Are there changing rooms and toilets at Aquaparc Embrun?
Yes, changing rooms are available on site. Public toilets are just a few metres from the park.
Are there lockers to secure your belongings?
Yes. Code lockers are available at reception to secure your belongings during your session.

Is it possible to eat at or near Aquaparc Embrun?
Yes. Several options are available on the Embrun waterfront: a snack bar in the immediate vicinity, the Rooftop (restaurant overlooking the lake, open for lunch and dinner until 10pm), ice cream parlors and picnic tables.
Are dogs allowed on the Embrun lake?
Dogs are welcome around the lake, but must be kept on a leash.
A dog-free area has been set up nearby.
Pets are not allowed on the beaches.
Are there any parking lots near Aquaparc Embrun?
Several parking lots are available in the immediate vicinity of the Embrun lake.
